Elmwood Pet has been around since 1947, and we think it’s the oldest, still operating, shop in the country (at least, that we have found so far). John Higgins and his brother Tom bought the shop 1986, making it the one-stop shop for pet owners in the Elmwood village of Buffalo, NY and surrounding suburbs.

This is not a big box retailer, but a locally owned shop staffed by people that know pets & care. Elmwood Pet sells the finest in pet toys, pet supplies, beds, leashes, collars, food and everything you need to keep your furry friends happy and healthy. We have a self service dog wash, parking and local delivery available.
